The 2d1n getaway staycation at JB – Day 1! ^^

Our first time taking the KTM train (only 5 minutes journey) from Woodlands Train Checkpoint into JB!

The first stop – Hiap Joo Bakery!

Famous for some of their bread pastries and especially the banana cakes. S: RM$4.80 and L: RM$9.60.

Fresh and piping hot banana cakes from the oven!

Traditional charcoal baked!

Next stop over for brunch – Triple K!

Famous for their beef and lamb noodles.

Beef noodles at RM$10 each. Affordable and yummy.

Drinks are at RM$1.50 each. And outside food is allowed here (as you can see, haha).

More caffeine needed after brunch!

Went over to Bev Cafe which is located just 2 shops away from Triple K!

Some interesting drinks that they have:

Charcoal latte (Black magic): Iced version for RM$14.

And it does tastes really weird too :X

Caramel rose latte: Hot version for RM$12.

Both the caramel and rose flavours blend in nicely as a good combination.

Shopping at the Paradigm mall thereafter!

Hello webarebears!

Ain’t they cute? Hehe.

Came across Tai Croissant and gave it a try!

Ordered the Okinawa red bean mochi (RM$7.50). Tasted not too bad, every piece is actually prepared and made upon order placement.

Continued with more walking and shopping around and then headed to Sutera Mall area for dinner.

Have always been wanting to try out the Palsaik Korean BBQ in JB and yes like a finally!

The recommended menu and specialty:

The seafood soup which was included in the set.

Spicy!

The ingredients were all cooked by the staff.

Good service.

Satisfied and tummy was really full after dinner!

Walked around and went back to the hotel check-in at Holiday Villa Johor Bahru.

Chillax at the Sky 26 bar. View on top.

Some sweet endings for the night.

Ordered the Long Island Tea (RM$56++) and Tequila Sunrise (RM$36++).

Called it a night thereafter, zzz.
