Hi, I'm Meryl — the eater, snapper and writer behind SG Food Lover. Since 2018 I've been wandering Singapore's hawker centres, kopitiams and cafés, ordering too much, and writing down what was actually worth it.

Every review here is a first-visit (or honest revisit) account: what we ordered, what it cost, whether the laksa was lemak enough — and a rating out of 5 at the end. No sponsored fluff, no pretending a dry chicken rice was great. Just real plates, real prices, real opinions.
