Creamier (Tiong Bahru): 1-for-1 waffles with four gelato flavours!

Creamier is the homegrown artisanal ice cream brand that started here on Yong Siak Street in Tiong Bahru, well loved for its handcrafted gelato (its Horlicks and Earl Grey Lavender are the cult flavours) paired with freshly pressed waffles. Going as a group meant we could split a 1-for-1 deal across the table and order a different flavour on every plate.
What was on the plates:
- Chocolate gelato on a waffle (top left).
- A malty cream scoop (top right).
- Pistachio, with visible nut bits in the pale green (bottom left).
- Cookies & cream (bottom right).
- Each: a single freshly pressed waffle drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce.
The draw at Creamier is the contrast of a warm, crisp-edged waffle against a scoop of dense, properly churned gelato slowly melting into it. The pistachio was the standout for me, nutty and not too sweet, while the chocolate was deep and the cookies & cream the crowd-pleaser. The caramel-and-chocolate drizzle tied each plate together.
Splitting the 1-for-1 across four friends made this an affordable group dessert stop, and everyone got to taste every flavour.
