- Half boiled egg.
- Sliced fishcake + fried tau pok.
- Laksa leaves (daun kesum) chopped pile.
- Side bowl of red bean soup dessert (green bowl).
Laksa leaves (daun kesum / Polygonum) = the herbal-aromatic finisher. Distinctive savoury-grassy aroma. Most SG laksa stalls now mass-blend the laksa leaves into the broth; the better stalls scatter fresh on top.
Red bean soup dessert side = the SG-Chinese hawker pair.
Overall: 4 / 5. Coconut curry depth was there, generous tau pok + fishcake, laksa leaves finished it right. Hawker laksa standard. 😋👍🏼
