Whenever the McDonald’s app runs 1-for-1 on the McNuggets, it is hard to say no, two boxes for the price of one is the kind of deal that makes a snack break feel like a win.
The McNuggets themselves are the comforting classic: tender white-meat chicken in that crisp, golden, lightly seasoned batter, hot and crunchy out of the box. Best eaten straight away while the coating is still crackly. We had ours with curry sauce, which is the order every time, that sweet, mild, slightly spiced dip that is somehow the whole reason to get nuggets in the first place. A bit of sweet chilli or barbecue works too, but curry sauce is the one.
Nothing fancy, just a fun, greasy little treat between us for under five dollars. Sometimes that is exactly what you want.
Overall: 4.6 / 5. 😋👍🏼 Crispy McNuggets with curry sauce, twice the box for the price of one. Would re-do whenever the deal is on.
