Venchi gelato with Burpple Beyond ($10 for two)!
Two regular gelato cups at Venchi — pistachio + dark chocolate, mango sorbet + hazelnut. $10 with Burpple Beyond. Italian gelato done properly.
An afternoon that called for a sweet treat, and Venchi was running a Burpple Beyond deal we couldn’t say no to. 🍨😋 Venchi is the Italian chocolate-and-gelato house (founded in Piedmont), so the gelato is the proper, dense, slow-churned Italian style rather than airy soft-serve.
Got two regular cups, two scoops each:
- Pistachio + Dark Chocolate: the pistachio was nutty and creamy, the real-deal Italian style. The dark chocolate scoop was deep and intense, not too sweet. A classic combo, can’t fault it.
- Mango sorbet + Hazelnut (Gianduia): the mango sorbet bright and tangy, almost fruit-puree fresh, while the gianduia (the silky chocolate-hazelnut that Venchi is known for) was rich and nutty. The two balanced beautifully, one light and zingy, one indulgent.
Burpple Beyond brought the total to $10 for both. A steal.
Overall: 4.3 / 5. Venchi’s consistency hasn’t slipped, and at this price it’s a no-brainer. Already plotting the next visit. 😍👍🏼
