Hello 2021 — kickstarting the year with a hearty brunch!
First brunch of 2021 with the BB — eggs benedict on a green salad, a juicy burger with sweet potato fries, a craft iced rosemary drink, fresh OJ and lemon water. $88.28 for the two of us.
Hello 2021! 🎉 Kickstarted the new year the way we always do — a long, lazy brunch with the BB.
We ordered quite the spread. The brunch salad came first — soft poached eggs on a generous pile of greens, with broccoli, prosciutto and a sprinkle of caviar / black sesame on top. Felt healthy, but make it festive. 😍
Next up: a juicy burger with a tall stack of sweet potato fries on the side. The fries were properly crispy on the outside and pillowy inside, which is half the battle won. 🍟👍🏼
Drinks-wise, we got a craft iced concoction with a rosemary sprig in a cute little bottle, plus a glass of fresh orange juice and lemon-infused water. The rosemary one was super refreshing — fragrant without being too sweet.
The bill came to $88.28 for the two of us — a bit of a treat, but it IS New Year’s Day, so why not.
Overall: 4.4 / 5. Hearty, photogenic, perfect first-meal-of-the-year vibes. Already looking forward to many more food adventures with the BB this year. 😋👍🏼
