Rainy day mala cravings at Yang Guo Fu Mala Tang!

The skies opened up, and the only thing on our minds was mala. 😋 Headed down to Yang Guo Fu Mala Tang (杨国福) at Bugis+ for a proper bowl of mala soup to warm us up.

Both of us went for the soup version this time — full of fish balls, sausage slices, broccoli, tau pok, beancurd skin and a generous tangle of noodles, all swimming in that fragrant, lemak-spicy broth. The BB’s bowl came with minced meat too, which soaked up the soup beautifully.

Topped everything off with their house sambal — extra kick, no regrets.

Total damage: $25.10 for the two of us. Felt like a steal for how comforting it was.

Overall: 4.3 / 5. Just what we needed on a rainy day. 😍👍🏼
