IKEA soya ice cream cone ($0.50 each)!
IKEA Singapore's $0.50 soya ice cream cone — the cheap, soft-serve afternoon pick-me-up worth a detour through the Bistro on the way out.
NYE afternoon detour with BB through IKEA, and you know we cannot leave without grabbing the iconic soya ice cream cone at the Bistro before exiting.
We ordered:
- Soya ice cream cone — $0.50 each
At fifty cents this has to be one of the best-value soft serves in Singapore. The soya version is lighter than the regular vanilla, with a faint bean-y note that pairs surprisingly well with the crisp waffle cone. It’s swirled high, it melts fast in our weather, and you have to eat it walking out toward the carpark before it surrenders.
IKEA Bistro on a public holiday afternoon is its own little scene — families finishing their meatballs, kids running between the queue and the soft serve machine, that distinct cardboard-and-cinnamon-bun smell in the air. We grabbed our cones, did one slow loop near the exit, and called it dessert.
Overall: 4.3 / 5. 😋👍🏼 At $0.50 it’s basically free joy — auto-buy every IKEA trip.
