Sum Dim Sum!

Throwback to the first visit to Sum Dim Sum back then in the early period of COVID-19.

Visited the eatery during the first few days when it first opened for operations. Location is just a stone throw away from the existing Swee Choon Dim Sum eatery.

The menu:

We ordered the signature crispy pork bun (3 pcs: $6+). It tastes unique and has a fragrant pandan flavour and smell. And we definitely prefer these as compared to the ones at Tim Ho Wan, hehe.

The wolfberry with mushroom dumpling which is also known as siew mai ($4.50+). Tastes pretty normal.

The crispy fried prawn roll in beancurd skin ($4.50+). Tastes okay, but slightly on the oily side.

The hot & spicy dumpling ($4.80+). Tastes so so as well, and we prefer the ones at Shanghai La Mian Xiao Long Bao in Alexandra Hawker Centre 😅

The overall damage ($21.80)!

Rating: 4 / 5

Review: overall on the more pricey side, but still worth a visit and recommendation for its signature crispy pork bun! 🙂
