Revisit to Hao Lai Ke 好莱客 on last Sunday for brunch, which was also our first eat out after Covid19 phase 1!

We went there at about noon timing, and there was a short queue. Luckily, the orders went smoothly and service was quite fast as well.

Ordered the egg fried rice ($4). Tasted okay, was a bit quite blend though.

The pork chop fried rice ($6). Pretty much normal.

Not sure when did they ran out of the xiao long bao 小笼包, hence we ordered the dumplings 锅贴 ($5) for sharing instead. Tasted okay as well.

The overall picture.

Total damage: $15

Verdict: lack of wok hei taste, especially for the fried rice. We would prefer the fried rice dishes from King of Fried Rice (you can refer to earlier posts for their review write-ups).
