Baker's Brew Studio!

Revisit to Baker's Brew Studio at Paragon after a year: the healing garden tea ($6.50++), a long black with extra shot ($6++), and the cakes, ondeh ondeh ($7.50++) and lychee mango ($7.50++).

Baker's Brew Studio!

Revisit to Baker’s Brew Studio (after about a year)! A cafe and baking studio known for its elaborate, pretty cakes. πŸ˜‹

Ordered the healing garden tea (small: $6.50++)!

The usual long black, with extra shot ($6++)!

One of my favourites, the ondeh ondeh ($7.50++)! πŸ˜‹πŸ‘πŸΌ A cake take on the classic kueh, pandan sponge with gula melaka (palm sugar) and coconut, that fragrant, caramel-sweet flavour in cake form.

Tried a new flavour, the lychee mango ($7.50++)!

Not bad and fruity taste, the lychee and mango giving it a light, tropical sweetness that’s less heavy than the usual chocolate slices.

The overall:

The damage:

Inflation after a year or so, everything has become more pricey and decreased in size, sadly the cake portions felt smaller than we remembered.

Nonetheless, it’s still worth a visit once in a while, the cakes here remain some of the prettier ones around and the ondeh ondeh is reliably good.

Overall: 4 / 5. πŸ˜‹πŸ‘πŸΌ The ondeh ondeh cake stayed my favourite, though portions have shrunk with the price creep. Would still drop by once in a while.
