The combination of bubble tea and ice cream is the classic Singapore afternoon cool-down, ticking both the cold-drink and cold-dessert boxes at once. The two KOI teas were our reliable pick, that smooth, fragrant milk tea over ice with chewy tapioca pearls at the bottom, sweetened just how we like it.
The star, though, was the Häagen-Dazs caramel biscuit & cream. A dense, creamy scoop swirled with caramel and studded with crunchy biscuit pieces, rich and buttery with that lovely toffee-caramel sweetness and little bits of speculoos-style cookie running through. The contrast of the smooth ice cream against the biscuit crunch is exactly what makes it so good.
Cold, sweet and indulgent, with chewy pearls to work through and a properly rich scoop to share. A perfect little Friday wind-down.
