Grilled iberico pork ($23++) & Salmon with almond crust ($22++)!

A proper sit-down Western dinner with BB, ordering one meat and one fish to share: grilled iberico pork ($23++) and salmon with almond crust ($22++). ๐Ÿ˜‹

What we had ($45++, around $53 nett):

The iberico pork was the star. Cooked over the grill to a rosy medium and sliced, it had those smoky, charred edges and a deep, almost beefy colour, that distinctive nutty richness the breed is known for. Tender and full of flavour, with a glossy savoury jus pooled underneath. Pork this good is worth ordering pink.

The salmon was the gentler half: a thick fillet seared and finished under a crunchy almond crust, so you get a nutty, golden top against the soft, flaky fish underneath. It sat on a swipe of green herb oil with smooth mashed potato, carrot and green beans, a tidy, comforting plate.

One rich and smoky, one delicate and nutty, the two played off each other nicely across the table. A lovely, slightly indulgent dinner that felt worth the price.

Overall: 4.7 / 5. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Smoky grilled iberico pork and a crisp almond-crusted salmon, a great surf-and-turf pairing. Would re-visit.
