What we had:
- Rooibos latte: served warm with a tidy heart poured in the foam
- Iced cafe latte: tall and cold over ice
The rooibos latte was the one I came for. Rooibos is a caffeine-free red-bush tea from South Africa, and brewed strong with steamed milk it makes a lovely latte, that warm amber colour, a naturally nutty, gently sweet flavour, and none of the caffeine jitters. It is the cosy, wind-down sort of cup, and the little latte-art heart on top was a nice touch.
The iced cafe latte was the dependable coffee fix: a clean shot of espresso over cold milk and ice, smooth and refreshing, exactly right for a warm Singapore day.
Ordering one of each meant we covered both moods, one caffeine-free and soothing, one a proper cold coffee hit. Both were well made, and at $6.60 for the pair on the deal, the cafe stop was easy on the wallet too.
Overall: 4.6 / 5. ๐๐๐ผ A soothing caffeine-free rooibos latte and a smooth iced latte, both nicely made. Would re-do.
