The post-swim refuel is a particular eating moment. You’ve burned a couple hundred calories in the pool, you’re slightly dehydrated, and you’re hungry in a more focused way than the regular Monday lunch hunger. The body wants protein, carbs, and salt.

The Burpple Beyond set at $29.45 covered all three reliably. Mains were substantial brunch plates — likely savoury options with proper protein-and-carb portions. The kind of mains that satisfy post-exercise hunger without going elaborate.

Side was a small vegetable or salad component. Drinks were the standard included options.

The format is the same elevated mid-tier Burpple Beyond brunch we’d been doing through phase 2. Roughly $15 per person for sit-down brunch with the subscription discount is reasonable value compared to the home alternative at $4-5 in groceries.
