The Prosperity Beef Burger is the franchise’s most recognisable Singapore-only release — a beef patty in a black pepper sauce that leans more peppery-savoury than spicy, with crispy lettuce on a sesame bun. It’s not a high-art burger but it scratches a very specific nostalgic itch every January.
Twister fries are the headliner this round. Long, curly, with a salt-and-paprika seasoning that’s stronger than the standard fries. We always add an extra portion because one is never enough between two people.
CNY menus at McDonald’s lean heavier on toy collectibles than food innovation, but the prosperity items themselves have stayed on the limited-time roster long enough to feel like a tradition.
