Hot day thirst quencher — Chicha San Chen bubble tea!
Chicha San Chen (吃茶三千) bubble milk tea pickup at Clarke Quay — milky tea with black pearls in the signature kraft paper carrier.
Hot Singapore afternoon at Clarke Quay — needed a bubble tea thirst quencher ASAP. Chicha San Chen (吃茶三千) to the rescue. 😛😋
What was in hand:
- A clear cup of bubble milk tea — milky beige tone, with a generous layer of dark black tapioca pearls visible at the bottom through the cup window cutout.
- The signature kraft paper carrier with twine handle — the Insta-photo bonus of every Chicha San Chen pickup.
- The green-strip 吃茶三千 seal on top sealing in the freshness.
Held it up against the Clarke Quay skyline for the obligatory hot-day photo before walking off to enjoy. The kraft carrier is genuinely elegant — turns a casual bubble tea into a coffee-shop accessory.
Chicha San Chen on a hot day is the right call because their tea base is properly brewed (real leaves, not powdered), so even with all the ice melt the tea note holds up rather than diluting into sugar-water. The pearls were fresh and chewy as always.
Total: not noted but standard ~$6 for a regular cup.
Overall: hot-day-perfection. Bubble tea is meaningless unless your tea actually tastes like tea — Chicha San Chen consistently delivers. Will keep picking up. 😍👍🏼
