Mint mint chocolate chocolate chip (Like it: $6.50)!
Baskin-Robbins Mint Chocolate Chip — Like It-size scoop, $6.50. The classic divisive mint flavour that you either love or hate. We love.
CNY day 2 dessert — popped by Baskin-Robbins with BB after the family lunch ran long. The Mint Chocolate Chip is the order I always default to because it’s the most predictable scoop in the universe and that’s exactly what I want from a chain.
We ordered:
- Mint Chocolate Chip (Like It size) — $6.50
The mint flavour leans the polarising green-toothpaste side rather than the subtle fresh-herb side, and that’s the whole point. Sharp peppermint, cool finish, paired with shards of dark chocolate chip that crack between your teeth.
Like It size at Baskin-Robbins is the middle option — bigger than a kid scoop, smaller than a Love It double, and the right portion for one person who actually wants to enjoy ice cream without committing to a sugar coma. They pack it firm so it holds shape on the cone for the first few minutes of eating, then it goes proper melty in our weather.
Baskin-Robbins pricing has crept up over the years but $6.50 for a Like It is still in line with most chain scoops in Singapore. The 31-flavour wall is part of the charm, even if you always end up ordering the same thing (which I always do).
Overall: 4.2 / 5. 😋👍🏼 Default dessert, reliable as ever — would always come back for the mint.
