Thursday lunch at McDonald’s Bukit Batok — the twister fries are still on the CNY menu, so we kept the streak going and ordered them with a McNuggets meal.
We ordered:

McNuggets are the franchise’s most consistent product across every outlet I’ve ever eaten at. Crispy beige batter, white meat inside, dunkable into any sauce in the holder rack — we usually go curry sauce by default with a side of sweet & sour. The 6-piece set is the right amount for a single-person lunch when you’re not trying to eat an entire bucket.
Twister fries were the headline. Long, curly, dusted in that paprika-salt blend that’s noticeably stronger than regular fries — the kind that makes your fingers orange and you don’t mind because you’re going to eat all of them anyway. Crisp on the outside, soft potato inside, easy single-handed eating.
Drink was a default Coke Light, mostly ice but that’s what you accept at 12pm.
Bukit Batok McDonald’s is the kind of suburban outlet that’s busy without being chaotic — lunch crowd of students, office workers and aunties stopping in.
Overall: 4.3 / 5. 😋👍🏼 Quick, satisfying, twister fries are the real reason to come — would repeat before the promo ends.
