Sunday group dinner at a pasta café!
Sunday group dinner at an aesthetic pasta café — truffle fries, mushroom cream pasta, seafood tomato pasta, vongole, prawn aglio olio and a fancy cocktail. Pretty floral wall for the wefie.
Sunday group dinner with friends at an aesthetic pasta café — four-person table, ordered enough pastas to cover the whole table. 😋
What was on the table:
- A basket of truffle fries — golden, dusted with parmesan + parsley + truffle oil. The universal sharing-starter.
- Mushroom cream pasta — spaghetti in a creamy white sauce loaded with sliced button mushrooms + chopped parsley.
- Seafood tomato spaghetti — generous mussels in shells, prawns, in a tomato-based sauce with parmesan dusting.
- Vongole spaghetti — clam pasta in a white wine garlic sauce, with bits of fresh parsley.
- Prawn aglio olio — angel hair with whole prawns, chilli flakes, olive oil.
- A fancy cocktail in a curvy glass — clear sparkling with citrus slices and herb garnishes.
- A floral wall in the background for the group wefie selfie before leaving.
Group pasta night format works when everyone can sample multiple dishes — we did the family-share thing where each pasta got passed around. Mushroom cream + vongole were the table favourites. Seafood tomato was the bold one. Prawn aglio olio held up as the cleanest pasta.
Café aesthetics > food execution slightly — the floral wall was the obvious anchor for the photos, but the pastas were genuinely good. Solid group-dinner pick.
Total: group dinner pricing.
Overall: 4.3 / 5. Pasta variety hit the right balance (creamy / tomato / oil-based), truffle fries were the predictable crowd-pleaser, floral wall gave the photo moment. Will be back for another group run. 😍👍🏼
