W cooks — homemade spaghetti bolognese!
Home-cooked Sunday dinner — W made spaghetti bolognese from scratch, tomato-meat sauce over spaghetti. Two bowls plated.
W cooks day — homemade spaghetti bolognese for the two of us. Sunday home-cook tradition. 😋
What W plated:
- Two white bowls of spaghetti topped with chunky tomato-meat bolognese — minced meat + tomato chunks + onion bits in a thick red-orange sauce.
- Bright green melamine spoons on the side.
Homemade bolognese hits different from the restaurant version — W’s sauce had real tomato chunks (not just blended paste), the meat was more loose-textured, and the seasoning was on the lighter herb side rather than the heavy Italian-restaurant garlic-cheese profile. Cleaner.
Pasta was cooked properly al dente, sauce coated each strand. The chunky texture meant every bite had different ratios of meat-to-tomato.
Overall: 4.5 / 5. W cooks = home win. 😍👍🏼
