A visit and revisit to Teafolia at two different outlets for their fruit tea. Refreshing! 😋
Teafolia is a tea chain that leans into the fresh-fruit-tea trend: real fruit pieces steeped with tea, served tall and iced, the fruity, lighter alternative to the milk-and-pearls bubble tea school. The cups come loaded with actual fruit rather than just syrup, which is the whole appeal.
Specialty fruit tea ($5.90) at Bedok Mall, the house blend, a medley of fruit with the tea base, sweet and tangy and genuinely refreshing on a hot day.
Appley ever after (jasmine), $5.80, at Northpoint City, the apple-and-jasmine combination, the floral jasmine against the crisp apple sweetness.
Between the two, we preferred the specialty fruit tea, the mixed-fruit blend had more going on than the single-fruit jasmine version. Both were refreshing, the kind of fruit tea that actually tastes of fruit rather than sugar, and we will try out the other flavours next time.
