Brewlander is one of our home-grown craft breweries, so it is always nice to drink local. This came as a proper full pint in the branded glass, a hazy, glowing golden pour with a thick, foamy white head. Cloudy and aromatic, the kind of craft pour that smells of hops before you even sip.
It drank fruity and fresh, with a soft hoppy character and just enough bitterness to keep it interesting without being aggressive, easy-going and very drinkable. The haze gives it that juicy, slightly fuller body that makes a pint go down nicely after a long day.
At $13 it is craft-beer pricing rather than the $6 Tiger tier, but you are paying for a local, small-batch brew, and it is worth it for a treat. A good, refreshing pint to mark the middle of the week.
Overall: 4.6 / 5. πππΌ A hazy, hoppy local pint from Brewlander, fresh and very drinkable. Would re-order.
