Catering from Grain!
An office catering spread from Grain: roast chicken, soba, black rice, fried tofu, popcorn chicken and cake rolls. Homegrown healthy-bowl catering.
Office catering sorted by Grain, and I built myself a very full plate. ๐ Grain is the homegrown Singapore healthy-food brand known for its bowls and office catering, so the spread had that signature mix of something hearty, something fresh and (sneakily) something sweet.
What I piled on:
- Roast chicken thigh in a savoury herb gravy
- Soba noodles tossed with the chicken
- Cauliflower and broccoli, lightly cooked
- Black and white rice
- Fried tofu and a few pieces of popcorn chicken
- Two cake rolls (red velvet and a strawberry one) for dessert
The roast chicken was the centrepiece, tender with a glossy, savoury sauce that carried over nicely onto the soba. I like that Grain leans on real cooking rather than just salad, so even the healthy bits felt like a meal. The cauliflower and broccoli kept their bite, and the black rice added a nutty, chewy base.
Then the fun extras: crisp fried tofu, a couple of popcorn chicken nuggets for the kid in all of us, and those soft little cake rolls to finish. Catering done well means everyone finds something they like on the same plate, and this hit that brief.
For an office event it was convenient, varied and genuinely tasty, a clear step up from the usual buffet trays.
Overall: 4.6 / 5. ๐๐๐ผ A varied, well-cooked Grain catering spread with cake to finish. Would order again for events.
