Curious Palette!
Revisit to Curious Palette at Prinsep Street: the speculoos chocolate chip cake ($8.50++), a long black ($4.90++) and a white magic ($6.90++) at this popular cafe.
Revisit to Curious Palette on a weekend afternoon, made reservations via Quandoo beforehand, which turned out to be wise. π
The cafe (over at Prinsep Street, near Bras Basah) was pretty crowded when we reached.
The cakes in the fridge, ranging from chocolate, red velvet, salted caramel, cookies and cream, speculoos chocolate chip and etc.

Ordered the speculoos chocolate chip cake ($8.50++)! Speculoos is the spiced caramelised-biscuit flavour (think Lotus Biscoff), here paired with chocolate chips. The cake tasted so-so, could be better though, a little dry for the price.

Long black ($4.90++)! The straightforward black coffee, espresso over hot water:

White magic ($6.90++)! A milk coffee, essentially a stronger, double-ristretto flat white, smoother and more concentrated than the usual latte:

The overall spread:

The total damage of $23.89!

The coffee was the stronger suit here (the white magic in particular), even if the cake underwhelmed. Would revisit again to try out the other food and drinks!
Address: 64 Prinsep St, Singapore 188667
Hours: Closed on Tuesday, 9am - 10pm daily
Overall: 3.8 / 5. πππΌ Solid coffee, especially the white magic, though the speculoos cake was a touch dry. Would return to try the brunch.
