Thai food for dinner!

A Thai dinner spread: claypot tang hoon prawns, tom yum soup, and pad thai with prawns, all sweet, sour and spicy.

Thai food for dinner!

A proper Thai dinner with BB, ordering a few dishes to share. πŸ€πŸ˜‹

What we had:

The claypot tang hoon prawns was the comforting centrepiece. Glass noodles steamed in a claypot soak up all the sweet, savoury juices from the prawns sitting on top, so every slippery strand is full of flavour, and the prawns themselves come out plump and sweet. You eat it straight from the hot pot.

The tom yum brought the kick: that unmistakable Thai broth that hits sweet, sour, salty and spicy all at once, fragrant with lemongrass and lime, loaded with prawns and mushrooms. Brilliant for waking up the appetite.

And the pad thai was the familiar crowd-pleaser, stir-fried rice noodles in that sweet-tangy tamarind sauce with prawns, beansprouts and crushed peanuts, brightened with a squeeze of lime.

Between the three, we had the full Thai range covered: comforting noodles, fiery soup and that classic sweet-sour stir-fry. Everything tasted properly balanced and fresh, exactly the kind of shared Thai meal I love.

Overall: 4.6 / 5. πŸ˜‹πŸ‘πŸΌ Comforting claypot prawn tang hoon, punchy tom yum and a classic pad thai, a great Thai spread. Would re-visit.
