What we had ($10.60 total):

We picked one chocolate and one tea, and both came in Milkshaโs signature cup sleeves with a fat layer of pearls sitting at the bottom. The Valrhona cocoa milk was the rich one, made with Valrhona cocoa so it tasted of real dark chocolate rather than just sweet, deep and a little bittersweet against the milk. Lovely if you like your chocolate drinks on the proper grown-up side.
The earl grey latte was the lighter, fragrant one, that distinctive bergamot perfume from the earl grey tea folded into milk, smooth and floral and not too sweet.
The honey pearls are what tied them together: chewy tapioca with a gentle honey sweetness, softer and less heavy than the usual brown sugar pearls, so they let the drinks lead. Lovely QQ chew. One of us on chocolate, one on tea, both with pearls to chew on, exactly our kind of afternoon treat.
