Monday October home lunch — rice, eggs, vegetables. Standard weekday rotation continuing through Q4.
Monday lunch at home with BB — the standard weekday plate continues.
Today’s plate:

- Fried egg (sunny-side)
- Stir-fried vegetables
- Pan-seared protein
- Chilli sauce on the side
The Monday lunch is the start-of-week reset meal.
Hot rice base was the standard fluffy jasmine.
Fried egg was the M-style sunny-side. Crispy white edges, runny golden yolk.
Stir-fried vegetables today were cabbage shreds with carrot strips, smashed garlic and a splash of soy.
Pan-seared protein was a small portion of sausage rounds — sliced Bratwurst, hit in its rendered fat.
Chilli sauce on the side as always.
We sat at the kitchen counter, drank coffee from the V60, ate slow. The work-from-home Monday rhythm continued.
Lockdown habits worth keeping post-reopening. Home weekday lunch sits firmly on the keeper list.
