Pre-ordered a little something pretty from Baker’s Brew Studio — their Yuzu Pear Swiss Roll ($22.80). Worth the wait. 😍🍰
What’s inside the cute marble-print box:
- A long, fluffy yuzu sponge rolled around a pillowy white cream filling — the citrus came through gently, not overpowering, like the cake just smelled like sunshine.
- Piped along the top: scalloped fresh whipped cream in neat little waves.
- Decorated with fresh pear slices, a sprinkle of crushed pistachio, and tall pale green sugar tuiles standing upright like little leaves. So photogenic.
