En Sushi!
First visit to En Sushi (relocated) at Bugis during the 1-for-1 donburi promo: the Chirashi Don ($22.90++) and the spicy soft shell crab salmon aburi sushi ($18.90++).
First visit to En Sushi (relocated) at Bugis! Didnβt know they had moved over from Income House until the 1-for-1 Donburi promo from 21-23 December 2018. π
The 1-for-1 donburi promotion had to be the same don, so we ordered two Chirashi Don ($22.90++). Chirashi don (βscatteredβ sushi bowl) is an assortment of sashimi slices laid over a bowl of seasoned sushi rice, a great way to sample a spread of fish in one dish.
Tasted not too bad, and felt like an improvement after the relocation. I personally liked the swordfish most from the dish ππΌ, clean and firm.
Ordered the spicy soft shell crab salmon aburi sushi ($18.90++) too. Yummy! ππΌ Aburi means the salmon is lightly torched on top, which renders the fat and adds a smoky, melt-in-the-mouth richness, and pairing it with crunchy soft shell crab and a spicy mayo gives a great mix of textures.
A solid value Japanese spot, especially when the 1-for-1 donburi deal is on. Will revisit again.

Overall: 4 / 5. πππΌ The chirashi don (loved the swordfish) and torched salmon aburi were the highlights. Good value on the 1-for-1 deal, would re-visit.
