Passed by the Morganfield’s outlet at Suntec City on Christmas Day after an early dinner. Morganfield’s is the American-style restaurant known for its sticky bones (pork ribs), but this time we just popped by for some drinks.
It was a hot and sunny day, so an ice-cold beer hit the spot, and it’s happy hour all day long on Sundays and public holidays!
The drinks menu:
We ordered the Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc ($12++ each) and fries ($3.90++). The 1664 Blanc is a French wheat beer, light, cloudy and citrusy with a hint of coriander spice, a refreshing easy-drinker that suits a warm afternoon, and the fries were the obligatory salty snack to go with the beers.
It was my second visit (first was at Star Vista). Overall still not too bad, a chill spot to grab a drink, and we’ll have to come back for the sticky bones proper. Would revisit again.
