Revisit to Playmade at Serangoon Nex: the new seasonal Mojito series, plus passionfruit pulp green tea, black tea latte with handmade pearls, and a mojito ice blended.
Revisit to Playmade, trying out the outlet at Serangoon Nex this time. 😋 Playmade is the Taiwanese bubble tea chain known for its handmade pearls (they make their own boba and flavoured pearls fresh).
The shop is on level 4 of the mall, nearest the escalator towards the Shaw cinema halls, and orders here are placed via 2 automated machines.
Found out that they have a new seasonal flavour, the Mojito series!
On a hot and sunny morning, we ordered the passionfruit pulp green tea, a black tea latte with 3 pearls, and lastly the mojito ice blended with mojito pearls! Yums! The mojito blended was the refreshing pick for the weather, minty and citrusy, with chewy mojito-flavoured pearls for a fun twist on the usual boba. The passionfruit pulp green tea brought real fruity tang with bits of actual pulp, and the black tea latte is the comforting, milky classic.
Would definitely revisit again! And will try some out at the country of origin, Taiwan, soon. Stay tuned!
