What we had:

You canโt go too far wrong with this combo, and for under four dollars it really delivered. The waffle was freshly pressed, golden and crisp on the outside with a soft, fluffy middle, and still warm, which is the whole trick: a warm waffle against cold ice cream.
The two scoops covered both camps, classic vanilla for the creamy, mellow side and chocolate for a deeper, cocoa hit, and the chocolate sauce zig-zagged over the top tied them together. As the ice cream slowly melted into the warm waffleโs little squares, every bite got a bit gooey and indulgent.
Nothing fancy, no elaborate plating, just a proper hot-and-cold waffle done right at a hawker price. Sometimes that simple version is exactly what youโre craving, and it is the kind of treat that makes a small afternoon feel a little better.
