Iced black coffee; Fruit basket tea; Tiramisu (RM$36)!
Tuesday Malaysia cafe — iced black coffee + fruit basket tea + tiramisu RM$36. Malaysia cafe spread.
A cafe afternoon on our Malaysia trip: iced black coffee + fruit basket tea + tiramisu, RM$36 (~SGD$12.40). ☕😋
What was on the table:
- An iced black coffee.
- A fruit basket tea.
- A slice of tiramisu.
Part of the joy of cafe-hopping across the Causeway is the value, the same kind of spread that would run $25 to $35 back home came to about SGD$12.40 here. The iced black coffee was the no-fuss cooler, a clean, milk-free coffee over ice. The fruit basket tea was the fun one: a fruit-loaded tea brimming with pieces of fresh fruit, bright, refreshing and a little tropical, the sort of drink made for a warm afternoon.
The tiramisu rounded it off, the Italian classic of coffee-soaked ladyfingers layered with airy mascarpone cream and dusted with cocoa. It’s the perfect cafe dessert because it leans into the coffee theme, bittersweet, creamy and not too heavy.
A relaxed, well-priced little cafe stop, the kind of easy treat that makes a holiday afternoon.
Overall: 4.6 / 5. 😋👍🏼 A clean iced black, a refreshing fruit tea and a creamy tiramisu, lovely value across the border. Would re-visit on the next trip.
