The $32++ Burpple set is the elevated mid-tier sit-down restaurant pricing. Substantial enough to feel like a proper restaurant meal, restrained enough not to require special-occasion justification. Burpple Beyond’s set-meal format at participating restaurants usually delivers a full 3-4 course meal for what would otherwise cost $50+ at full price.

The starter or appetiser was the opener. A small portion of the kitchen’s lighter dishes — usually a salad, a small soup, or a chef’s amuse. Designed to set the tone for the meal without filling you up.

The main was the central event. A proper restaurant-tier protein plate — likely a grilled steak, salmon, or pasta dish — cooked to order, plated with attention. The Burpple set mains are usually the restaurant’s standard mains, not stripped-down versions.

A drink came included in the set. Usually a soft drink or an iced tea, occasionally a glass of house wine depending on the restaurant’s set composition.

Dessert closed the meal. A small plate of the kitchen’s standard dessert offerings.

The $32++ pricing with the ++ (service charge + GST) adds up to roughly $38-39 final. Still fair value for the spread.

The Burpple Beyond format works as follows: pay an annual subscription fee, get access to 1-for-1 or set-meal pricing at participating restaurants. The math works out if you use the subscription about 5-6 times during the year. We’ve been using it actively since phase 2 reopening, which means it’s paying back well.

Phase 2 reopening had restored the option of doing sit-down dine-in, and the subscription discount stack made it more accessible.
