Date night via GrabFood with BB — went for the Atlantic halibut fish and chips at 25% self-pickup. $23.85. 😋
What was in the boxes ($23.85 for two):
- Two takeaway clamshell containers, each with: a thick fillet of Atlantic halibut in beer batter — golden brown, slightly puffed up, with that signature crispy bumpy crust. Halibut is the premium-tier white fish — flaky, mild, slightly sweet.
- A generous pile of thick-cut fries alongside, golden and just-out-of-fryer crispy.
Halibut over the usual cod or dory = premium pick. The batter on these had real “beer batter” thickness — not the thin Asian-style version.

Overall: 4 / 5. Fish was generous and quality halibut, batter was solid but suffered a bit from travel (slight softening). Would prefer to dine in for max crispiness. Still worth it for the halibut. 😍👍🏼
