Sarawak kolo mee + 8 pcs fried wanton via GrabFood ($17.75)!
Sarawak kolo mee + 8 pcs fried wanton delivered via GrabFood — two portions of springy noodles, char siew, minced pork and crispy fried wantons. $17.75.
WFH lunch — ordered Sarawak kolo mee + 8 pcs fried wanton via GrabFood. $17.75 for two portions to share with BB. 😋
What was unwrapped on the plastic ($17.75 for 2 portions + wantons):
- Two portions of Sarawak-style kolo mee — springy thin yellow noodles tossed in light savoury sauce, looser and bouncier than the wanton mee sauce style.
- Topped with sweet char siew slices (rosy edges showing), a generous mound of savoury minced pork with scallions.
- A stack of crispy fried wantons (炸馄饨) — eight pieces total, golden-brown, pleated like little flowers.
The kolo mee travelled well — noodles stayed bouncy, sauce hadn’t soaked everything to soggy. Wantons stayed crispy thanks to separate packaging.
Total: $17.75 via GrabFood for two portions + 8 wantons.
Overall: 4.3 / 5. Sarawak kolo mee held up better than expected via delivery. The fried wantons were the snackable bonus — crispy through and through. Good takeaway choice. 😍👍🏼
