Mid-week Putien dinner with Burpple Beyond ($33.90 for two)!
Heng Hwa-style noodle soup, signature 100-second bee hoon and a generous oyster omelette at Putien Farrer Park — all for $33.90 on Burpple Beyond. Solid mid-week treat.
Used our Burpple Beyond at Putien Farrer Park for a proper Heng Hwa mid-week dinner — and the price tag at the end made it taste even better. 😋
Ordered three to share:
- Heng Hwa lor mee — bowl of slippery noodles in milky white broth with prawns, shiitake mushrooms, cabbage and greens. Comforting in the way only Putien soup noodles are.
- Signature 100-second Heng Hwa bee hoon — their hero dish. Bee hoon stir-fried till silky, tossed with peanuts, mushrooms, sliced meat and crispy seaweed for that umami crunch. Always orders itself.
- Oyster omelette — a big golden round of egg-and-flour pancake studded with plump oysters, herbs scattered on top, with the dipping sauce on the side. The crispy bits hit the spot.
After the Burpple Beyond 1-for-1, total came to $33.90. Mid-week win. 👍🏼
Overall: 4.5 / 5. Putien’s consistency is something else — and at this price, hard to fault. 😍
