High tea Burpple Beyond at an artisan patisserie — two latte art coffees and two eclairs (almond praline + strawberry rose). $14 for the set.
After Sunday brunch — went for high tea with BB via Burpple Beyond. Two coffees + two eclairs. $14 for everything. 😋
What was on the table ($14 via Burpple Beyond):
- Two lattes in black cups with heart-shaped latte art — smooth, well-pulled espresso under milky foam.
- A plate of two eclairs:
- An almond praline eclair — choux pastry filled with hazelnut/almond cream, topped with crispy almond slivers and small crispy pearls, dusted with icing sugar.
- A strawberry rose eclair — choux pastry filled with strawberry cream, topped with a glossy pink rose-flavoured glaze, finished with a fresh red rose petal.
Both eclairs were pretty enough to photograph for ten minutes before cutting in. Choux was crisp on the outside, soft and cream-laden inside.
Total: $14 for two coffees + two eclairs. Mad deal.
Overall: 4.5 / 5. Strawberry rose was the elegant pick (rose petal made it Insta-perfect), almond praline was the comfort-flavour. $14 high tea = unbeatable Burpple Beyond value. 😍👍🏼
