Pork tenderloin with braised cabbage + nicoise salad ($12++)!
Bistro-style lunch — pork tenderloin slices with braised red cabbage and a side nicoise salad with eggs, olives, baby potatoes, anchovies, romaine and tomato. $12++.
Bistro-style lunch — pork tenderloin with braised red cabbage + nicoise salad. $12++. 😋
What was on the plate ($12++):
- A fan of roasted pork tenderloin slices at the side — properly pink in the centre, with a herb-seasoned crust.
- A pile of braised red cabbage sitting on top of the pork — slightly sweet, slightly sour, the perfect cabbage gravy for pork.
- A generous bed of Niçoise-style salad — Romaine lettuce, halved hard-boiled egg whites, baby roasted potatoes, black olives, anchovies, a cherry tomato, and green beans — all dressed with a light vinaigrette.
Pork was the headline — tender, juicy, properly seasoned. Salad balanced it with the briny olives + anchovies.
Total: $12++ for the plate.
Overall: 4 / 5. Tenderloin was cooked just right, braised cabbage was the standout side. Salad was a clean palate refresher. Solid bistro plate. 😍👍🏼
