Walnut paste & Cheng Tng with lotus seeds at Yat Ka Yan!

Back at Yat Ka Yan (一家人) at Fortune Centre — we keep finding reasons to come. 😋

This time, a different pairing:

Walnut paste (核桃糊) — $4. Smooth, nutty, comforting in that very classic tong sui way. The kind of dessert that makes you feel cared for.
Cheng Tng (清汤) with added lotus seeds (莲子) — $3 + $0.50 = $3.50. Their cheng tng came packed with longan, dried chrysanthemum strands, white fungus, and the lotus seeds gave it that extra cooling-herbal feel. Light, refreshing, and slightly sweet.

Total: $7.50 for the two bowls. Still bafflingly affordable for the quality.

Overall: 4.4 / 5. Different from the previous walnut + black sesame combo, but just as good. Yat Ka Yan is officially on rotation now. 😍👍🏼
