What we had:
- Big breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, a hash brown, toast, mushrooms, rocket and cherry tomatoes
- A long black coffee
- A chamomile tea
Holiday mornings are made for a proper sit-down breakfast with no rush, and this was a generous plateful. Soft, buttery scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, browned sausages, a golden hash brown and toast, with sauteed mushrooms, fresh rocket and sweet cherry tomatoes to balance all the richness. Everything cooked just right.
To drink, a long black for me, espresso over hot water so it keeps a bit of crema and stays bold without milk, and a soothing pot of chamomile tea for BB, floral and calming, a nice gentle counterpart to the coffee.
At around SGD$27 for the spread it is more of a holiday-treat breakfast than an everyday one, but the slow pace and the full plate made it worth it. Exactly the unhurried start a trip should have.
Overall: 4.6 / 5. ๐๐๐ผ A generous big breakfast with soft scrambled eggs and crispy bacon, plus good coffee and tea. Would re-visit.
