Saturday cafe — cookie butter soft serve + coffee black + toffee nut latte + Rocher croissant. Cafe quartet.

Cookie butter soft serve ($6); Coffee black ($4); Toffee nut latte ($5); Rocher croissant ($5)!

A cafe afternoon with BB, and we went a bit all-in: cookie butter soft serve ($6) + black coffee ($4) + toffee nut latte ($5) + Rocher croissant ($5). ☕🍦😋

What was on the table ($20):

The cookie butter soft serve was the star: smooth vanilla-based soft serve swirled with Lotus Biscoff cookie butter, so it carries that spiced, caramelised-biscuit flavour all the way through, sweet but with a lovely warm-spice edge. The Rocher croissant doubled down on the indulgence, a buttery, flaky croissant filled and topped Ferrero-Rocher-style with chocolate and hazelnut, basically dessert in pastry form.

On the drinks, we split it between sweet and serious: the toffee nut latte is the cosy, dessert-y option, espresso and steamed milk with nutty-toffee syrup, while the black coffee kept things grounded with a clean, no-milk cup to cut through all the sweetness. That contrast is exactly what you want when the food leans this indulgent.

At $20 for the four of them, it was a fun, slightly greedy little cafe spread, the kind where you order one of everything that catches your eye.

Overall: 4.7 / 5. 😋👍🏼 The cookie butter soft serve and Rocher croissant were the indulgent stars, balanced by a clean black coffee. Would re-visit.
