Draft Carlsberg pilsner!
A self-poured glass of fresh draft Carlsberg pilsner: crisp, golden and easy-drinking, straight from the tap.
A cold one, poured fresh by my own hand: a draft Carlsberg pilsner, straight from the self-serve tap. πΊπ
What I had:
- A glass of draft Carlsberg pilsner
There is something extra satisfying about pulling your own pint, and a freshly tapped one is hard to beat. The pour came out a clear, bright golden with a tidy white head, and it drinks exactly as a good pilsner should: crisp, clean and refreshing, light on the palate with just a gentle hop bitterness and no heaviness.
It is the easy-drinking, no-fuss style of beer, the sort you happily sip on a warm afternoon without thinking too hard about it. Cold and fizzy and uncomplicated, it does the job perfectly. Drinking it fresh off the tap, rather than from a bottle or can, gave it that lively, just-poured crispness that makes draft beer a treat.
Sometimes you donβt need anything fancy, just a cold, well-poured lager, and this hit the spot nicely.
Overall: 4.5 / 5. πππΌ Crisp, clean, freshly-tapped pilsner, easy-drinking and refreshing. Would re-pour.
