Last Friday night at Beerfest Asia!
A night of craft beer at Beerfest Asia: tasting pours from Sandport, Archipelago Brewery and Sake Mama's Japanese craft beers.
Last Friday night vibes with BB, out at Beerfest Asia, the big craft beer festival. 🍻😋
What we drank our way through:
- A Sandport “Went Off The Wall” bottle
- A pour from Archipelago Brewery (the homegrown Singapore craft brewery)
- A Sake Mama Japanese craft beer
A beer festival is the best way to drink, you wander from tent to tent, grab a different brew at each, and try things you’d never normally order. The lights, the crowd and the buzz of it all make for a brilliant night out.
The Archipelago pour was a local favourite, a clean, easy craft beer from one of Singapore’s own breweries. The Sandport “Went Off The Wall” was the bottle to sip slowly, a craft brew with a bit more character. And the Sake Mama Japanese craft beer was the interesting one to round off, lighter and a little different from the usual Western styles.
It is the kind of evening that is really about the experience as much as the beer: good company, a festival atmosphere, and a chance to taste across a load of different brewers in one night. A fun, lively last-Friday-night out.
Overall: 4.5 / 5. 😋👍🏼 A lively night of craft-beer tasting across local and Japanese brewers. Would re-do.
