Korean fried chicken — Honey Butter + Soy Sauce ($14 + $6)!
Korean fried chicken date with BB — Honey Butter wings (half: $14) and Soy Sauce tender fillets (4 pcs: $6). Two baskets to share.
KFC night — but the Korean kind. Went for two of the signatures: Honey Butter + Soy Sauce. $20 total. 😋
What was on the trays:
- Honey Butter chicken wings (half-order: $14) — golden fried wings tossed in honey butter sauce and then dusted with a generous coating of sweet milky butter powder. Sticky-sweet, slightly salty, with the powder melting against the hot crust.
- Soy Sauce tender fillets (4 pcs: $6) — boneless chicken fillets in their crispy batter, glazed in dark soy-garlic sauce and dotted with sesame seeds. Classic Korean banjeong style.
Each basket lined with paper, served in classic wicker baskets for the casual Korean snack-bar vibes.
Total: $20 for both — solid date-night order.
Overall: 4.2 / 5. Honey Butter was the more polarising one (the butter powder is love-or-hate), but BB loved it. Soy sauce was the consistent winner — sticky, savoury, sesame fragrant. Will reorder both. 😍👍🏼
