Salmon Sunday at a conveyor-belt sushi spot ($1.50++ each)!
Salmon Sunday promo at a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant — aburi salmon nigiri at $1.50++ each, with miso soup on the side.
Caught the Salmon Sunday $1.50++ per plate promo at a conveyor-belt sushi spot — went hard on the salmon nigiri. 😋
What was on the table ($1.50++ each):
- Two pink plates of aburi (torched) salmon nigiri — each piece had two fat slabs of salmon lightly seared on top, glistening with that just-melted fat layer, sitting on fingers of vinegared rice.
- A red lacquer bowl of miso soup with seaweed and tofu cubes floating in the milky broth.
- A small dish of soy sauce with wasabi ready for dipping (though aburi nigiri often needs no sauce).
Conveyor-belt promo + properly torched salmon = the easiest Sunday food math. The aburi treatment brings out the fat and adds a smoky note that raw salmon doesn’t have.
Total: $1.50++ each plate, very accessible per-piece pricing.
Overall: 4.5 / 5. Salmon was fresh, the aburi was the right level (just enough sear without overcooking), and the promo made it impossible to stop ordering. Best Sunday deal. 😍👍🏼
