Dessert date — went for artisanal gelato at a café. One cone, one cup. $4.90 each. 😍
What was in hand and on the table ($4.90 each):
- Pistachio gelato on a waffle cone — pale-green-tinted scoop with visible pistachio bits speckled through. Nutty, rich, properly pistachio-forward (not just almond-flavoured). Sitting on a freshly-made golden waffle cone.
- Mango passionfruit sorbet in a paper cup — vibrant yellow-orange scoop, no dairy, intense fresh fruit flavour with tangy passionfruit cutting through the sweet mango.
Pistachio for me, mango-passionfruit for BB. Cone gelato is the showstopper, cup sorbet is the cleansing palate. Different textures, both shop-quality.
Total: $9.80. Artisanal gelato pricing.
Overall: 4.5 / 5. Pistachio was the highlight — real pistachio paste, not the artificial green stuff. Mango passionfruit sorbet was clean and refreshing. Date-night gelato that delivered. 😋👍🏼
