TamJai SamGor (譚仔三哥) mala mixian in Singapore — 1-for-1 promo at $18.40 total. Two big bowls of HK-style rice noodles in spicy and collagen broths, with sides and HK milk tea.
Caught the TamJai SamGor (譚仔三哥) 1-for-1 opening promo at one of their SG outlets — the Hong Kong mixian chain finally arrived and we had to try it. $18.40 for two bowls = $9.20 each. 😍
What was on the table ($18.40 for 2 bowls + sides):
- Spicy mala mixian — thin rice noodles (mixian) in a fiery red broth, glistening with chilli oil, packed with bean sprouts, cabbage slices, chives and slices of pork belly. Mala-level spice with proper numbing kick.
- Tomato collagen mixian (BB’s bowl) — same thin noodles but in a creamy orange-pink tomato collagen broth, milder, with vegetables and lean pork slices. Comfort in a bowl.
- A side plate of HK-style fried sesame meatballs — coated in sesame seeds, crispy outside, juicy pork filling. Small but generous.
- A tall glass of HK-style milk tea — strong, sweet, ice cold.
The mala broth was no joke — properly spicy with that ma-la tingle. The tomato collagen was the surprise — rich without being heavy, BB loved it. Sesame meatballs were a great appetiser.
Total: $18.40 for the 1-for-1 (regular price would’ve been ~$36 with sides).
Overall: 4 / 5. Solid HK mixian chain experience and 1-for-1 made it a steal. Mala lovers — the spice is real. Will return for the tomato collagen broth. 😋👍🏼
